Did you iMac stop working and your local computer shop cannot help you with data recovery?
Well, if they remove the hard drives outside your iMac for data recovery, please ensure you are aware and that the techs verify that you have a Fusion Drive. A Fusion Drive on an iMac is a combination of a large capacity HDD and lower capacity SSD. Both those devices are needed to have a complete file recovery. This Fusion Drive composed of a 3TB Seagate hard drive and solid state could not be 100% recovered with complete folder and file structure, because the customer and their local computer shop tech did not realize that this iMac was a #FusionDrive configuration. So, the computer shop recycled the #iMac skeleton with the #SSD inside (major facepalm!)
